Product safety (GPSR)

Information required by Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR).

1. Manufacturer

2. Responsible person in the EU

The manufacturer is established in the European Union and also acts as the responsible economic operator within the meaning of the GPSR.

3. Product identification

Each Product is identified by its trade name, the vehicle model it is intended for and the order number. Detailed data can be found on the Product sheet and in the sales document.

4. Warnings and safety information

• The Products are intended for fitting to the vehicles specified on the Product sheet.
• A trial fitting without permanent work is mandatory before installation.
• Fitting in an authorised workshop is recommended.
• Improper fitting of aero parts may lead to them coming loose while driving.
• When working on composites, protect your airways, eyes and hands.
• The Product is not intended for children; it is not a toy.

5. Reporting hazards

Information about accidents, hazards or defects affecting safety should be reported without delay to [email protected]. The report should include a description of the event, the order number and photo documentation.

6. Corrective actions

If a risk is identified, HELK DESIGN takes action proportionate to the hazard, including informing customers, replacing or repairing the Product or withdrawing it from the market, and notifies the competent authorities in accordance with the GPSR.

7. Traceability

HELK DESIGN keeps records of orders and production batches that allow a Product to be linked to a specific order and production process.
